Heathers the Musical is coming to Adelaide in July 2026, following highly successful seasons in London, New York and the West End. The award-winning production will tour Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, the Gold Coast, Canberra and Perth, with an Australasian cast to be announced soon.

Based on the 1989 cult film, the musical follows Veronica Sawyer as she navigates life at Westerberg High after being drawn into the world of the popular “Heathers.” When new student J.D. arrives, Veronica finds herself questioning loyalty, friendship and the cost of fitting in. The story combines dark comedy with a strong soundtrack by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe.

The production is directed by Andy Fickman and features a mix of ballads and energetic rock numbers.
