Description
Located in the heart of Fitzroy’s creative backstreets, The Rose St. Artists' Market is one of Melbourne’s best-known destinations for discovering local art, design and handmade goods. Each weekend, a small stretch of Rose Street transforms into a lively outdoor market showcasing the work of emerging and established artists.
Inspired by artist-run markets in London, Berlin and New York’s DUMBO Collective, the market occupies a former junkyard site and provides a platform where creatives can connect directly with visitors. Up to 120 artists and designers exhibit across the weekend, making it a constantly changing experience.
