NGV International

Description

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is Australia’s oldest and most visited art gallery, housing a collection of over 70,000 works that span thousands of years. Across its two iconic venues — NGV International on St Kilda Road and The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia at Fed Square — visitors can experience everything from contemporary art and design to historic exhibitions, fashion, and architecture.

For young people aged 13–17, the NGV Teens program offers tailored events and opportunities to connect with art, artists, and peers in creative and meaningful ways.

NGV Teens includes:

Teen Events & Activities – Including the ever-popular NGV Teen Art Parties, interactive workshops, and talks with artists and curators.
NGV Teen Council – A chance for teens to work alongside gallery staff, contribute ideas, explore creative careers, and help shape future programs.
Creative Learning – Hands-on learning experiences inspired by the NGV Collection and exhibitions, encouraging artistic exploration and expression.
Work Experience – Opportunities for students to gain behind-the-scenes insight into gallery operations and careers in the arts.

The NGV Teens program is proudly supported by Beatrice Moignard, The Betsy and Ollie Polasek Endowment, The JTM Foundation, Alex & Brady Scanlon, and Rachel Kwei.
