Description
ACMI is Australia’s museum of screen culture, where you can explore the worlds of film, TV, videogames, and art through exhibitions, screenings, and interactive experiences.
Located in the heart of Melbourne’s Fed Square, ACMI (formerly the Australian Centre for the Moving Image) celebrates the creativity and influence of the moving image, inspiring the next generation of makers, players, and storytellers.
For secondary students and teens, ACMI offers engaging opportunities to connect with screen culture. Top Screen 2025 showcases outstanding short films, animations, and documentaries created by VCE Media students, offering insight into the creative process and assessment expectations. Alongside the screening, ACMI runs VCE-focused workshops and education sessions that help students deepen their understanding of media production, story development, and analytical frameworks — all led by industry professionals and educators.
